In today's video I'm going to show you some a blues lick in the key of E that comes straight from "Good Morning Little School Girl" as recorded by Muddy Waters on guitar.

This is an old blues standard that was originally written by Sonny Boy Williamson. In the version recorded by Muddy Waters the chord progression and form of the song follow a 19-bar blues pattern. This is one of the blues phrases that Muddy plays as a turnaround. Let's break it down!
